Took advantage of a few different beauty offers this week. I used my Amarya discount to pick up the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Clay Mask. I recently bought the steam bath which I really like using on its own, but it says for best results to use in conjuncture with this mask. Amarya also sent me a Quince Day cream to try. Although the Dr. Hauschka site advises against people with oilier skin types using this I will give it a go anway to see what its like. They also sent me a Weleda skin food sample to try. I've used a few Weleda samples now and really like them, may pick up some full sizes to try soon.
I also took advantage of The Latest In Beauty 50% discount on BioEffect Serum which is a personal favourite of mine (reviewed here). With this I picked up a Lola Rose hand cream and a BalmBalm bath oil, both of which I've never tried before, and another Aromatherapy Associates bath oil (need to get a full size of this I love it!). I also thought it was about time I tried another of the mini beauty boxes (which I first reviewed here ). The idea behind this box is that you pick 3 samples of a set list for free and only pay by text for the postage amount (£1.50). I picked a Melvita sachet sample, the Caudalie Premier Cru Set and the "mystery" sample which turned out to be an Aveda conditioner! Considering you only have to pay £1.50 I think those four items are really good value for money, especially as only one was a sachet sample. The choices change all the time but you are limited to ordering only one box per month. If you haven't tried this service I'd recommend giving it ago if only once.
The next set of items I ordered came from Bath & Unwind. They emailed me with a money voucher to use on the site so I decide to try something new that I hadn't heard much about. I decided to go with a Korres Wild Rose Brightening Mask. I just bought the Wild Rose moisturiser and thought this would be great to use with it, plus I'm always up for trying a new face mask. This mask is only small but it's a great size for trial use/ travelling. Korres is a brand I'm really interested in and want to try a few more products from. I also noticed when I was browsing that the Elemental Herbology body oil was FREE! That's right totally free, reduced from £30 to nothing. I'm not sure why it was free but I wasn't about to let a freebie get away and quickly added it to my order. I really love Elemental Herbology and want to try some more of their bath and body products anyway. This oil smells so fresh and clean and comes in a lovely glass bottle. I'm really looking forward to trying it. Best of all the site offers points for purchases that you can turn into money off discounts (like Amarya). I saw lots of things I intend to order next time.
Lastly I receieved another year supply of Bath & Body Works products to add to my lifetime stash. I love Bath & Body Works products so much and I'm so sad they dont have stores in the UK (although you can get them on ebay here). At my request this set of minis was brought back to me from USA (USA Holiday Inns carry Bath & Body Works products FYI). This range is my favourite, the shampoo is amazing and smells heavenly. I can't wait to be back in USA in a few months to stock up on all my favourites again.

Beauty Box: April Glossy Box

"Spring Fever" Pearl Lowe Design Edition Box

In The Box:
.ESSIE Nail Lacquer- 244 "Snap Happy"- Full Size (£7.99)
. Yves Rocher France "So Elixir Purple" Eau de Parfum - 5ml sample bottle (£4.50)
.Sunsense Daily Face SPF 50- 10g sample (£1.15)
.SLEEK Makeup Blush- 936 "Pixie Pink"- Full Size (£4.49)
. Nip + Fab Mango Smoothie Dry Skin Fix Body Butter- 50ml sample (£2.50)

Box Value= £20.63 // Actual Cost £12.95 (inc p&p)

It has been a long time since I was really pleased with a Glossy Box but I was delighted to receive this months edition. A few weeks a go I received an email about the box being the "Pearl Lowe" design box and was so excited, even if I did not like the contents I would have a lovely box to keep. It was an added bonus that the contents was an all round winner this month too. The box itself  is a beautiful English rose thirties style design print (I wish Pearl had got to edit the contents too). The contents is "Spring" themed and this month the theme actually matches the box. The product I'm most excited about was the Yves Rocher perfume; this smells amazing, it has a strong violet scent that I love. The box also comes with a coupon for the full size bottle and I am tempted to purchase it! Secondly I loved the SLEEK blush. I haven't had a chance to try this brand yet but have heard such great things about their products. This is a great product for me to start with. It is a wonderfully bright pink blush, perfect for Spring/Summer months. The compact as its name is sleek and compact and has a little mirror inside, perfect for touch ups. I was pleased to see the ESSIE nail polish. Although I'm not usually a fan of the nail stuff in boxes I've decided that despite my laziness I would try a few nail looks over the summer months. I had actually decided a few days ago I would try out the ESSIE polishes as I love the colour range they offer, and this bright red is perfect for me to jump in with. The Sunsense is another great product. I am very militant about wearing sunscreen all year round, even in the usual gloomy weather. I am a firm believer that it makes a difference. Unfortunately the highest I've ever been able to get a moisturiser in is SPF 35 which is OK for the UK but not so great for my Summer holidays. Usually I use Neutrogena sunscreen in SPF 50 to 90 but I don't really like the feel on my face. Hopefully this cream specially designed for the face will do the trick and feel a lot nicer on the skin. Annoyingly it comes in a twist cap tube so not ideal for testing before use. I'll have to decant it into a travel tube/ jar. If everything works out OK I'll definitely be purchasing a full size for Summer. Lastly the Nip + Fab body butter. I'm personally not a fan of the skin care range but I am interested in the body care stuff as I've yet to try it. This body butter smalls amazing and is so thick and lovely. I'm really looking forward to trying this out. Overall this was a great Glossy Box and I can't wait to use everything!

New In: Beauty Favourites From Feel Unique

Some new items from Feel Unique...

Feel Unique sent me a gift voucher to use on their website. I considered picking up something I hadn't tried before but decided to go with two of my trusted favourites; MONU Micro Exfoliant & Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I love both of these products so much. The MONU Micro Exfoliant is an excellent non abrasive scrub that can be used 3 times a week, it's perfect for anyone who suffers with oily or blackhead prone skin. Caudalie Beauty Elixir is always present in my handbag. I love spritzing this on to refresh my makeup or to just perk up my skin throughout the day. It's a lovely treat for the face. Feel Unique is a great website and I do a lot of my beauty shopping there. They have a wide range of brands at low prices, offer free delivery and dispatch orders so quickly. A site worth checking out if you haven't used them before.

Beauty Box: April Amarya Personalized Box

In The Box
.NEOM Real Luxury Lavender, Jasmine & Brazilian Rosewood Organic Body Oil (£30.00)
.Neal's Yard Remedies Eyeshadow-Camellia Shade 23 (£11.25)
Sample Sachets x" Bohi Mint The & Rosemary Chi Shower Gel

Box Value £41.25// Actual Cost £27.50 (inc p&p)

I was so pleased with the Amarya personalized box this month namely because of the presence of the NEOM body oil, I almost let out a squeal when I saw it. This is something I've wanted for a while but haven't been able to justify spending the £30 on something that is not completely necessary. Although the cost of the box is only slightly under the cost of this one product, the box comes with a 15% off voucher so I will be able to pick up the NEOM travel bath oil set I also wanted and use them together... making a slight saving anyway. I've been hoping for a while to get a REN or NEOM bath/body product in my box as I love these brands so much and they are real luxury treats. Unfortunately the other product wasn't for me. All though I love Neal's Yard Remedies Skin, Hair and Body care products I do not like their makeup range. I think it is a bit old ladyish and has some real bizarre colour ranges (although I do like how it is an organic line). This product I've actual read pretty bad reviews on, and it is not in a colour I would use (it is a pinky shade). If I keep it I may try it as a base coat but I'm not sure, it might be better for me to re gift or sell it. I have asked-Amarya to put a note on my account about neutral tone makeup as I really dislike it. Hopefully in the future if any makeup is included I will get a shade more to my liking and I won't have to waste any more products. This product isn't even available on their site which makes it odd that it was included. I have noticed that when products are fazed out from the website they crop up in the next months boxes. I know a few companies do this and I find it so annoying to receive cast offs they just can't shift any other way. I was pleased though with the extra Bohi shower gel samples included. I've never tried this brand and I'm looking forward to trying both of them, they look like really nice scents. Despite the makeup being a waste I was pleased overall with this months personalized box and am looking forward to using the discount voucher on some more purchases.

Beauty Box: April Amarya Box

In The Box
.Essential Care Gentle Herb Shampoo- 30ml (£1.50)
.Essential Care Organic Avocado Replenishing Cream 15ml (£5.40)
.John Masters Organics Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Wash- 30ml (£2.30)
. John Masters Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk- 30ml (£2.30)
. Blend Collective Softening Hand Cream / Sandalwood, Frankincense, Cedar wood, Neroli- 5ml (0.85p)
.. Blend Collective Softening Hand Cream/ Star Jasmine, Geranium, Rose- 5ml (0.85p)

Box Value= £13.20 // Actual Cost= £12.50 (inc p&p)

This month's Amarya box had a decent selection of brands to try out. All the products were samples rather than full sizes, there were 6 different products included from 3 different brands. The only brand included I had previously tried was Essential Care, Blend Collective & John Masters Organics are new to me. I've been wanting to try John Masters for a while now so was really pleased there were two products from this brand included. The box also came with 20% off all brands so if I like the products I'll be able to get a good deal on some of the other products in the line too. Although the Essential Care products are not ones I would have necessarily chosen myself from the brand they are ones I can use. The shampoo in particular looks really nice. Although it is supposed to be marketed at people with dry or irritated scalps (which I do not have), it will be a nice gentle shampoo to use after I dye my hair (when my scalp is more sensitive than usual). The moisturiser too is not specific to my skin needs, it is for dry/mature skin, however it will come in handy as a night cream when my skin is feeling dryer than usual. Hopefully it will not be too rich for my oily skin. Lastly I was pleased to see the Blend Collective hand creams. This is a new line that has just been added to the Amarya website. Although the samples are rather small which may make it harder to judge how good they are, they are perfect handbag size for an emergency. The two scents chosen look like they will be really nice. Hopefully I'll get to try more from the line in the future. Sadly there were no great savings on this box, value was pretty much the same as actual cost. I didn't mind though as all the products are usable and there was really good range included. Overall a good box for April.

Beauty Haul

Some new (mostly essential) beauty products I picked up today...

Bath & Body
.Soap & Glory Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath
.The Body Shop Cucumber & Mint Shower Gel
.The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter
.L'Occitane Pivoine Floral Shower Cream

I missed using the Soap & Glory bubble bath so much I had to buy some more. It had to be the only time they weren't on sale though! This is one of my favourite bubble baths, it leaves skin so soft and lasts forever, so definitely worth the money. The Body Shop items I got on sale in a gift pack with some other items. I've never used these products before but they smell lovely and I can't wait to use them. The L'Occitane shower cream was another sale product I was sold on at the counter. It was only £4 (I think it's usually about £15 or £16) so I thought why not. I love everything from L'Occitane so I will probably love this too

Hand Care
.The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector
.L'Occitane Rose Reines Hand Cream
.The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Hand Cleanse Gel

I've tried using other hand creams but I just can't live without Hemp Hand Protector. It is the only hand cream that works for me and actually helps with dryness. This was definitely an essential purchase. So to was the lemon hand cleanse gel. I get 40% discount for The Body Shop so they both worked out really cheap. The L'Occitane hand cream is in my favourite scent Rose 4 Reines. This however is not worth the money. I was sold on this at the counter being told it was only a £1 which I still thought was a lot for such a small tube, but I love that fragrance and L'Occitane hand creams are really nice, but later when I checked the receipt it was actually £3 for 10ml..crazy! It will be nice as a handbag cream but I won't be repurchasing it.

Skincare
. Origins Make A Difference Skin Hydratant Moisturizer
.Korres Wild Rose 24 Hour Moisturizing & Brightening Cream
. Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Spot Treatment Gel
.Avene Cleanance K Cream Gel
.Chemist Witch Hazel

The moisturizers I'll admit were an unnecessary purchase; I have a lifetime supply in my bathroom already. However I read some really good reviews of the Korres moisturizer and then saw this pot online at whatsinmyhandbag, and with my discount code it was only £15... usually it is £38 so I couldn't pass that chance up. I went out to buy the Origins Night A Mins night cream but they were sold out, when I saw the make a difference cream I tried some and couldn't believe how hydrating it was so had to buy it. I've read some really great reviews on this too so wanted to try it at some point. On sale it was about £20 so I got it at a good price, usually it is about £33. I will probably use it as a night time moisturizer as it has no SPF in it. They were also sold out of Origins Spot Remover so I went for my back up spot cream by Clinique. This is really similar and you get a lot more for your money. It's worth checking this out if you want to try something different or can't get your hands on the Origins version. I also picked up some Avene Cleanance K as I've missed it. Supposedly this and La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo are the same but I don't think the later is working for me so wanted to try this again. It advertises pretty much the same thing and is slightly  cheaper. Lastly classic chemist witch hazel. I've tried so many versions of fancy witch hazel waters but they are no better, all your really paying for is a nice bottle and a brand name. This pharmacy witch hazel is about £1 to £2 and works  so much better. I liked to use this to keep my skin fresh and clear from break outs.

Perfume
.The Body Shop Rose Oud Perfume x3
.L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Perfume (free gift)
.L'Occitane Fleurs de Brignoles Plum Blossom Perfume Roll -On
.L'Occitane Rose Jardin Delice Perfume

I can't deny that this part of my beauty haul was completely unnecessary. If you read my perfume collection post a few months ago you will know how much perfume I have and don't really need. But being the addict that I am I can't let a month go by without adding a new bottle to the vanity table. All were on sale though so really I saved more than I spent. The Body Shop Rose Oud trio came in the set with the items above and worked out at £3 a bottle. I love this scent but it's been discontinued so it was my last chance to buy and I got a good price which makes it slightly OK.... I may not have got the chance again after all. The others came from L'Occitane. My first mistake was deciding I would have a "browse" in L'Occitane. I can never do that. Beautiful perfumed items all on sale, how is anyone supposed to resist. I did make the smart choices though and picked the cheapest sale perfumes. I decided to go for Rose Jardin which was only £14 and a small roller ball version of Plum blossom which was only £7 on sale. I've never tried these scents before, they'll be nice Sumner fragrances. The small bottle of Pivoine Flora (Peony) was a free gift which I was very pleased with. If I had the money I would buy all the L'Occitane fragrances... I've never come across a bad one.

.Mixed Lot of L'Occitane Sachet Samples

The best thing about shopping at L'Occitane is the free stuff you get! They are so generous with samples and you can ask for as many as you like. I got this mixed set. I've tried most before but will still enjoy using them.

Review

I received a number of samples from Lavera to test out. The wild rose collection is aimed at dry/ mature skin so when I used the Wild Rose moisturiser I used it sparingly as I have oily skin.  The moisturiser has a medium consistency and is non greasy yet incredibly hydrating. It has a very strong rose scent that lasts for hours which I loved (if you don't like rose scents you probably wont like this). It left my skin so soft afterwards. It's perfect to use on colder days or as a night time moisturiser. There is a Lavera moisturiser for oily/ combination skin that would probably be better suited to my skin type, but I loved the scent of this so much I would probably purchase this version. I also tried the Wild rose night cream but this was far too rich for my skin and broke me out terribly. So I would only recommend the night cream moisturiser if you actually have dry/mature skin. This version is perfect for anyone who has dry skin and suitable for oilier skin types if you use in moderation.  I'm very keen to try more from the Lavera line and will probably pick up some more of their products in the near future. Their body care range looks especially nice. The Lavera line is also a 100% organic and suitable for vegans too which is a plus.

Pros

. Very Hydrating/ Long lasting hydration
. Perfect for colder months
.Certified Natural/ Organic
.Replenishes Dry Skin perfectly
.Rose Scent that last for hours
.Leaves Skin Smooth
. Safe Ingredients e.g no beeswax/ moderate alchol only for antibacterial purposes & contains hyaluronic acid
.Easy to use packaging
. Reasonable Price

Cons

.Needs to be used sparingly if you have oilier skin
. Strong scent (if you dislike that)
.Can irritate sensitive skin in some cases

2. LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub
(£5.25- 25g)

Our lip scrubs are made from castor sugar to act as a gentle scrub and jojoba oil to be wonderfully moisturising but light enough not to leave you feeling greasy.
Keeps lips in tip top condition, for kissing, pouting, talking or anything else you wish to do with them. Provides a great base for lipstick, which looks much better on smooth prepared lips.

Ingredients

Caster Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Methyl Lonone, Flavour, Colour 45410, Colour 45380

Price & Packaging
Small glass pot with screw cap. Small enough to carry around. Good value for amount should last a few months

Review

This is an old favourite of mine that I recently repurchased. I forgot how much I loved it. I've had quite dry chapped lips lately and this has really helped. I use it about 3 times a day to make sure my lips are exfoliated. It leaves them so soft and smooth. The sweet bubblegum flavouring is amazing, good enough to eat! It's a great product to use before applying lip colour, use a lip balm after wards and then lip colour and it makes the application so much smoother. It also comes in two other flavour/ scents if your not a fan of this sweet bubblegum version. The downside is the pot, there is no sifting cover so you have to be careful not to drop/ knock it over or you'll loose all of it (what happened to my last pot). I'd fully recommend this and will be repurchasing when I finish this pot.

Pros

.Perfect for exfoliating lips and keeping dry skin at bay
.Helps with creating a smooth base for lip colour
. Sweet bubblegum flavour (or alternatives if you don't like this flavour)
.Sturdy glass pot
. Reasonably priced for quantity

Cons

. No protection cover inside pot so product can be easily to spill if not careful
. Apparently can be made at home more cheaply
.There is some discussion whether pot is breeding ground for bacteria (advise always have clean hands when using)
. Its a bit sticky

Lovely glass jar with screw cap lid. Easy to use. Looks nice on bathroom shelf. The price is rather expensive but it is a higher end skin care product.

Review
This is a  wonderful mask that not only exfoliates and brightens but also moisturises the skin. It is quite expensive so I use it every week or so. The formula is medium consistency quite sticky with small granules and has an over powering cranberry scent (which really reminds me of Xmas dinners). This is a mask you apply to dry skin and leave for 10 minutes before applying water, turning it into a facial scrub. I love that it is effectively both a mask and scrub in one. It's a great pick me up for fatigued skin, a lovely pampering product to use at the weekend.  It has a great ingredients list with nothing bad for the skin. It is certified organic and vegan approved. The mask is non irritating and very gentle on the skin. Suitable for all skin types. I really love Neal's Yard products and will definitely be trying out a few more of their masks.

Pros

.Works as both a mask and exfoliator
.Gentle formula
.Good ingredients list
.Nice packaging
.Organic
. Leaves skin brighter/ softer

Cons

.Expensive
.Glass jar is not convenient to travel with
.Strong cranberry scent (if you dislike that)

Price & Packaging
Comes in a range of sizes. Smallest size is enough to last a month or so. Plastic bottle ideal for travelling.
Very reasonable price for such a good shampoo

Review
This is an old favourite of mine. I picked up a bottle recently and remembered how much I loved it. If you have  curly/ frizzy or slightly unruly hair this is the perfect thing to tame it (the beer ingredient does this). The shampoo leaves hair so clean but gives it enough weight to smooth it out and leave it thick and shiny. It makes hair very manageable. You really only need a tiny amount, it lathers so easily. I've read a few reviews were people found it to be drying but I've never experienced that, I'd always advise using conditioner anyway after shampooing your hair. I like the smell of the product but I know this is another issue some people have with the shampoo. Also just a note this is a shampoo for dark hair only. It has a great ingredients list and is organic/ vegan approved which is also a plus. After remembering how much I loved this shampoo I will be repurchasing this more often. I recommend this for people with dark curly/ frizzy hair.. Overall a great shampoo.

Pros
. Leaves hair clean, shiny and manageable
.Smooths Frizz
. Lathers Easily
.Reasonably priced
. Organic ingredients
.Comes in a range of sizes

Cons
. Has a strong beer type scent
.Some people find it drying
.Only suitable for dark hair

5.LUSH Ocean Salt
(100g- £6.95)
Product Info
For the zingy, astringent feeling we chop up organic limes and soak them in vodka overnight and then mix this with coarse sea salt and add fresh grapefruit infusion and lime essential oil.  This will give you a scrubby mix that is antiseptic, takes away dead skin and tightens the skin. But we also wanted to soften the skin and leave it moisturised and supple, so we also add avocado butter, extra virgin coconut oil, lanolin, seaweed absolute
Ingredients
Fine Sea Salt, Fresh Grapefruit Infusion, Coarse Sea Salt, Stearic Acid, Fresh Organic Lime Extracted in Vodka, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Triethanolamine, Avocado Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Lime Oil, Lime Oil, Seaweed Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Glycerine, Lanolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 42090, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

Price and Packaging

Plastic tub with screw top lid. Easy to use and travel with. Also can use empty pot as part of their take back program. This product has gone up in rice a lot but is still semi reasonably priced for how long it lasts ( a few months).

Review

This is another old favourite of mine that is a regular repurchase for me but I've been especially loving it this month. I love this scrub, it's great to use every week or so. It has an incredibly fresh scent. The presence of vodka acts as an stringent and makes it ideal for oilier skin types or for use in hotter months. Consistency wise it is made up of large salt granules. This means that you have to use it properly or you will do more damage to your skin than good. You have to make sure your skin is thoroughly wet before applying the scrub. I use a very small amount and mix it with enough water so it is more of a paste than a thick scrub. There is a lot of criticize of this product that it far too abrasive for the face so I would only recommend using it in the way I recommended once a week or every two weeks. It is definitely not suitable for sensitive skin types. After use I find my skin is incredibly soft and deeply cleansed after use,  it really helps me to reduce pores and get rid of blackheads. This month I found it a real benefit as I had a few issues with my skin being dryer than usual, although I always pick a tub up when I run out. I'd recommend this if you have normal/ oily or non sensitive dry skin, not sensitive skin. It's a great occasional scrub and is excellent for summer months or if you're in a hot climate. It also is an organic product which is a plus.

Pros

. Fresh scent( smells like the ocean)
.Lasts forever
.Acts as an astringent, which makes it good at clearing blackheads
.Semi reasonably priced
.Leaves skin soft and smooth
.Organic

Cons

. Can't be used more than once a week or every two weeks
. Slightly abrasive
. Not suitable for sensitive skin

Review
I was sent a selection of mini face masks from Liz Earle, but because the smaller size is so small this is the only one I got a lasting impression from (I probably need to repurchase the others to get a clear idea whether they are beneficial to my skin or not). This mask noticeably left my skin looking better, and I've been enjoying using it this month (my skin has been slightly drier than usual). I've been using it in the mornings when I wake up and leaving it on for half an hour (twice as long as recommended) before getting ready, I find it really perks up my skin and adds the extra moisture and nourishment needed for tired skin. I can see a visible difference in how bright my skin looks after use.You have to apply it to clean dry skin and then remove with a hot muslin cloth. This is really refreshing to use, and I'd recommend using it in the mornings as a perfect wake me up product. It also soothes irritated skin making it great to use if your having breakouts. It is suitable for all skin types and contains all natural ingredients which is a plus. I've heard a few people compare this to Dermalogicas multivitamin mask, I'm personally not sure about that myself, but it is a fraction of the cost. I'd recommend this product for anyone suffering from dry or tiered looking skin, especially now while the weather is still cold.

Pros
.Leaves skin nice and soft & a lot brighter
.Refreshing on the skin
.Natural Ingredients
.Gentle on the skin, suitable for all skin types
.Subtle fragrance
.Easy to use Packaging
.Larger size is semi-reasonably priced

Cons
. Standard tube doesn't come with a muslin cloth
.Smaller size works out very expensive for size

Review

I've been using this for years but until recently I only truly realized the benefit of it.  This is a product that people largely misunderstand the use of, and usually when people dislike it it is because they are not using it correctly. This is a "fixing" spray not a setting spray to lengthen the longevity of makeup on the skin as a lot of people believe. It can be used in a number of ways. The general use is that you can freshen up your make up through the day with a few sprays, the presence of cucumber and caffeine makes it refreshing, and really perks up your makeup. However be weary and cover your eye makeup when spraying, it can remove even the toughest waterproof eye makeup. My personal favourite use is that if you've made your makeup too powdery you only have to give it a quick spritz with this and it's fixed. I also like to spray my face with it before applying makeup as a base. Some people also spray their brushes with it to adhere products or to use it to dilute thick formula, I haven't tried that myself though. I know there are a lot of facial sprays that people use in the same way and I'm not sure if they are better or worse per say. I myself often use Caudalie Beauty Elixir in much the same way. However this formula does contain caffeine which specifically perks up the skin.    It is also a formula specifically created not to remove makeup when spraying it on the face. Price wise it is good value, a full size bottle lasts me a year or more. I would recommend purchasing the travel size over the full size though, this way you can take it in your makeup bag, after all it is a product to use when your out and want to fix your makeup. I read a few reviews were people claimed it broke them out, I haven't experienced that but after doing some research a lot of beauty experts said that this is caused when you spray it too close to your skin( it is highly concentrated and you shouldn't overload your skin with it on close range). I'd recommend this to anyone who wears makeup for long hours, or anyone who wants to set their makeup with powder but doesn't want to look "powdery". If you have sensitive skin I'd say try this before you buy it just to make sure it doesn't break you out. I have oily skin and find my makeup wears off if I wear it for a whole day so a product like this is a godsend for me. I've got plenty left in the bottle so I don't need to repurchase yet, but I'll probably repurchase a small bottle when it's empty.

Pros

. Makes makeup less powdery
.Perks up makeup through the day
.Has mulit-uses
.Reasonably prices
.Comes in a handy travel size

Cons

. Can remove eye makeup if your not careful
.In some cases can cause breakouts

Review

This is a product I had for months before I actually tried it, the thought of a cream that could go on the face and body made me apprehensive. I can't believe it took me till recently to try it, it's a wonderful product. Invented by the creator of LUSH this product is often compared to Lush's Dream Cream (I haven't tried that so can't say myself), this is a multi-purpose product made using the innovative process of using steam. The ingredients are natural and it is handmade. Using steam to bind the ingredients creates a looser emulsion which helps the cream to better penetrate the skin leaving it incredibly hydrated  The consistency seems thick at first but applies so lightly to the skin. It has a wonderful fragrance that I really love. I've been using this as a night time moisture a few times a week. You can really feel your skin drinking it up. I find that if my skin is dry or irritated this really helps to sooth it. I especially like to use it after exfoliating my face as a gentle way to put the moisturiser back into the skin. I've also been using it on the tops of my arms were I tend to get a stress rash and found it has really helped with that too. It's not hard to see why this is an award winning product. It's reasonably priced and the tins are a good size for travelling. being multi-purpose it is also a great space saving product for holidays/ travelling. Best of all are the cute designs of the tins, you can get a new design with every purchase to brighten up your bathroom. I'd fully recommend trying this, don't be put of my the fact it can be used on face and body like I initially was. It's suitable for all skin types. Especially good for anyone with irritated skin or sensitive skin as it is ultra gentle, and people with dry skin as it completely eradicates any dryness or dehydration. I will definitely be repurchasing this, I can tell it will be a life long favorite.

Pros

. Light formula that's hydrating but not greasy
.Cam be used on face and body
. Lovely scent
.Natural ingredients
.Soothing on irritated skin
.Good value for money
.Cute collectable tins

Cons

. It's so good you may become addicted

Review

Evolve is a natural/ organic brand that is seriously underrated. I discovered Evolve last month when I finally got around to trying the samples they had sent me months ago. I quickly realized how great the products were and ordered a range of products from their skin and hair care line. This product in particular has been the shinning star from the range and I've already recommended it to everyone I know. No matter how little sleep I've had or how dull my skin is one use of this makes me radiant and glowing. The effects are noticeable and instantaneous. The granules are small and non abrasiveness so it does not cause irritation, and is suitable for sensitive skin types. Being organic the ingredients are all safe to use on the skin too.  It smells so lovely too. It's a real treat to use on the skin. I've already got a long list of other products I want to purchase from the line.
Pros
Leaves skin soft, exfoliatated and radiant
.Heavenly scent
Gentle orgainc formula
.Easy to use tub
.Reasonable price
.Suitable for all skin types

Cons

. Available online only (as far as I'm aware)

Review

This was a free sample I received that I've only just got around to using. I'm a big fan of L'Occitane in general and this is one of my favourite products. The hand cream has the most divine rose floral scent. It is thick and moiturising without being greasy. It leaves the skin so soft for hours after use. Sadly this version is limited edition (although it is still available). It is pretty much a dupe for the Body Shop's rose hand cream, which is £3 less if you wanted something cheaper. I'd recommend trying L'Occitane hand creams as the few I've tried have all been excellent. If you love rose scents then this one for you. I'm not sure I'll repurchase this, maybe if it is on offer as it is not the cheapest hand cream.

Pros
. Extremely hydrating
.Divine rose floral scent
.Easy to use squeezy tube

Cons

.Quite expensive for amount
.This version is limited edition so wont be available forever
