Review

MONU was a brand I was first introduced to through Glossy Box, one of the few brands I've gone on to purchase myself. So far everything I've tried from MONU I have loved. This product in particular has been a favourite of mine. 

I love using this product before using foundation to smooth out imperfections and conceal fine lines and reduce the appearance of pores. For years I used Clinique's Pore Perfector Cream which I really liked, but sadly this was discontinued ( I think months later they brought out a new version that is more expensive) so I spent months searching for a product to replace it. This was the only one that I found that was not only good, it was better. The cream has a light weight consistency and has quite a clinical smell. You only need a small amount and it really works at smoothing out any imperfections. As a result makeup applies flawlessly. Positives for this product compared to pore smoothing primers is that it does not contain silicone which means it is not detrimental to your skin, and also it is suitable to use on a daily basis with or without makeup. It is advised for normal to combination skin but I have oily skin and still find it works wonderfully. It doesn't clog pores or break you out and is not irritating on the skin. I'm not sure if I noticed any long term effects in the reduction of fine lines though, I guess after a longer more concentrated period of use that would be more apparent. This has become quite a beauty cult favourite and as a result always seems to be sold out. I've just finished a tube so will be picking one up this week hopefully.  I couldn't imagine anyone not liking this and fully recommend trying it.
