Review

I received this a few months ago in the Latest In Beauty advent calender. I had tried a few other Balance Me products but this was a new product to me. The first thing to note about this product is its striking resemblance to Liz Earle SuperSkin Concentrate. However the similarity stops at the visual point. The formula, consistency and overall effect are nothing compared to Liz Earl's version. If I had never tried the Liz Earl oil I probably would have been more impressed with this one, it is a good facial oil. The roller-ball size makes it really efficient for travelling and application very easy. The consistency is a lot lighter and less fragrant than the Liz Earle oil , which some people may prefer ( I personally prefer the thicker consistency and the strong aromatic scent of Superskin). However for me this oil  does feel a lot greasier on the skin which I disliked. People with dryer skin may not experience this with the formula. After use though skin does feel a lot softer and smoother, and it is a nice product to use when it is cold outside. It definitely improves the moisture level of the skin and really helps with dryness. A nice enough oil to try. It is also a 100% natural which is great.  Personally I would rather spend the extra £5 for the Liz Earle version which I rate a lot higher than this one. I saw better results with the Superskin  concentrate. If you were trying to make a choice between the two I would say go with the Liz Earle oil.
