Jolie Box has recently become Birch Box, with this month being the first box since the relaunch. There were questions over what this union would promise, luxury products meets affordable beauty and what would come out of that. This means a slightly new look for the box and a few more product lines being added to the selection but still a good range overall. Still included are Jolie Boxes trademark draw string bags and their monthly magazine which I especially love. As a first box goes this one offered a great selection of brands, but not necessarily the products I would have picked from those brands. It is a good mix of luxury and affordable brands. There were four main products and two extras included. My favourite product in the box was the Fresh Sugar Rose Lip treatment. I love Fresh products and this is a great product, although they do give these away for free at Sephora so I've received a few in the past. The WEI serum is also a product I'll look forward to using but the sample is so small to be able to gauge if it is good enough to purchase. KMS is a brand I've yet to try so I will look forward to trying the quick dry spray. Taaj is another brand I haven't tried before; I received a hand cream which is a good product but I've got an over stock of hand creams at the moment so I would have preferred a different product from their line. Extras were the I Colonialli massage cream sachet sample and a Teapigs Tea bag; OK extras nothing special. Overall a so so box. Hopefully with the new conjunction with Birch Box this will mean ore American lines being included. Can't wait to see what's in the next few boxes.
